Our Royal Journey: How We Got Started
My name is Paul Shively and I am the owner and founder of PJSGameCo.
PJSGameCo was born from my love of family, fun, and fantasy-style gaming. My journey began when I was introduced to the card game, King’s Court, during a family reunion. I immediately fell in love with the game and its ability to bring people together and build bonds. I knew I had stumbled upon something truly special.
Originally created and published by Janjohn Games, Inc. in 1983, King’s Court went out of print in 2005. Though the game was no longer available, I was determined to have a copy of my own and bring the game back to life. After some extensive research and legal work, I was able to obtain the copyrights to King’s Court, marking the beginnings of PJSGameCo.
Now, PJSGameCo is proud to reproduce and reprint King’s Court in all its original glory, just in time to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
Join PJSGameCo as we bring King’s Court back to life, ensuring that families everywhere can experience the joy, laughter, and camaraderie that this timeless game has to offer. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or a novice player, King’s Court promises endless hours of fun and cherished memories.
Get ready to gather your loved ones, shuffle the deck, and embark on an unforgettable journey through the realm of King’s Court.
